Doha: Chargé d'affaires Radeka visited the Qatar Investment Authority

Chargé d'affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Qatar Slobodan Radeka visited the Qatar Investment Authority and spoke with Mubarak Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Director for Europe, Turkiye and Russia.
QIA is a state agency specialised in Qatari investments abroad, whose capital is estimated at around 250 billion dollars.
Radeka pointed out that Serbia was interested in the development of all kinds of relation with Qatar, especially those in the field of economy, trade and investments, the potential of which has been greatly underestimated. He emphasised the comparative advantages and presented the impressive macroeconomic indicators of the Republic of Serbia.
Al-Khulaifi said that Qatar was interested in strengthening economic relations with Serbia and exploring investment opportunities, primarily in the agriculture and food production sector, as well as in sports medicine and IT sectors.
