19. May 2022.
Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Armenia Tatjana Panajotović-Cvetković had a courteous meeting with Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Vahram Dumanyan.

The Ambassador and the Minister highlighted the traditionally friendly relations between Serbia and Armenia, which had served as a solid foundation for the two countries to establish cooperation in the field of education, science, culture, and sports ― the same areas they now identified as important for improving bilateral cooperation.

Prior to her meeting with Minister Dumanyan, Ambassador Panajotović-Cvetković visited the Yerevan Primary School No. 158, one of the 627 schools in Armenia which had introduced a programme for improving children's science education in the field of information technology (“Armath”). This programme had been launched in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian NGO Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE).

Ambassador Panajotović-Cvetković spoke with UATE’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Hayk Chobanyan about the possibilities of cooperation between Serbia and Armenia in the field of science education for young people.
