Political consultations were held between Serbia and Italy

The third bilateral political consultations of the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Italy were held in Belgrade today.
Delegations of the two Ministries discussed the intensification of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, a high degree of agreement was reached on regional issues and mutual interest in preserving stability in the Western Balkans region was expressed.
Representatives of the Serbian MFA expressed their gratitude to Italy for its repeated strong support to the process of European integration of Serbia.
During the political consultations, issues of energy stability and food security were discussed in light of the current crisis.
The Serbian delegation at the political consultations was led by State Secretary Nemanja Starović, and the Italian delegation by MFA Secretary General Ettore Sequi.
