Djuric: Serbia grateful to Russia for its support in international organizations

Minister Djuric noted that there was a traditional friendship and understanding between our two countries and two peoples, and that this was reflected in the foreign policy positions of Serbia, which, although strategically committed to full membership of the EU, strived to maintain and promote ties with friends and partners across the globe.

The Serbian Foreign Minister reiterated his gratitude to the Russian Federation for its consistent support on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as on other matters of state and national importance for Serbia.

The topics discussed included the political and security situation in the region, the functioning of multilateral organizations, as well as current challenges in the world.
