Minister Đurić laid a wreath at the grave of Heydar Aliyev and the "Eternal Flame" monument

Today in Baku, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Marko Đurić laid a wreath on the grave of the former President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and his spouse Zarifa Aliyeva.

At the beginning of his two-day visit to Azerbaijan, the head of Serbian diplomacy was received at the highest level, and had the opportunity to speak with the incumbent President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to whom he conveyed friendly greetings from Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

After the ceremony, Minister Đurić also visited the "Martyrs' Lane", where he laid a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" monument.

Today, on the second day of his visit to Baku, Minister Đurić is meeting with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Prime Minister Ali Asadov, and Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev.

On the first day of the visit, in a conversation with President Aliyev, it was noted that the strategic partnership between Serbia and Azerbaijan was a great asset, which would continue to be developed in the future.

The meetings in Baku are an opportunity to discuss specific areas in which the cooperation between the two countries will continue to develop in the future, in the spirit of excellent Serbia-Azerbaijan political relations.
