The Republic of Serbia welcomes the Joint Declaration signed on 8 August in Washington between Armenia and Azerbaijan, under the auspices of the United States of America, and commends the constructive engagement of both parties.
Particular recognition is given to the highly significant role of the U.S. President Donald Trump in achieving this success.
The Joint Declaration represents an important step towards the establishment of lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in the South Caucasus.
The Republic of Serbia will continue to advocate for the promotion of peaceful dialogue, regional connectivity, and the enhancement of cooperation among all countries, based on mutual respect and adherence to international law and order.
