Political relations Bilateral relations are traditionally high-level and friendly.Lebanon participated in the First Founding Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade in 1961.There are no open political issues between the two countries, and there is mutual interest in improving economic cooperation, especially in the field of trade, transport and agriculture. First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs I. Dačić paid an official visit to Lebanon on 22 July 2015.On that occasion, he met with the then Lebanese Prime Minister T. Salam and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon G. Basil.Former Foreign Ministry of Lebanon G. Basil paid an official visit to Serbia on 28 November 2018. On that occasion he met with President Vučić, President of the National Assembly M. Gojković, Prime Minister A. Brnabić and Foreign Minister I. Dačić.
Economic relations In 2020, Serbia's exports to Lebanon amounted to 19.936 million euros, and imports to 223.000 euros.
Trade Agreement between the Republic of Lebanon and the FPRY. Effective date: 9 July 1954. Air traffic agreement between the FPRY and the Republic of Lebanon. Effective date: 4 June 1955. Agreement on cultural cooperation between the FPRY and Government of the Republic of Lebanon. Effective date: 21 May 1962. Agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism between the Government of the SFRY and the Government of the Republic of Lebanon. Effective date: 7 January 1971.
