Political relations
Contemporary bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and New Zealand have the potential for further development in various areas.
Marko Đurić, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, met with Winston Peters, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, on the sidelines of the 53rd Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting in Tonga on 28 August 2024.
Murray McCully, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, visited Serbia on 23 and 24 June 2014.
Economic Relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, total merchandise trade with New Zealand amounted to EUR 8.0 million in 2025, of which exports from the Republic of Serbia accounted for EUR 3.2 million and imports for EUR 4.8 million.
