Political relations
Bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan are characterized by mutual readiness to intensify and advance political dialogue and develop overall cooperation, especially in the sphere of economy. In 2018, the two countries marked a significant jubilee—70 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
The last visit at the level of the Minister of Foreign Affairs was the visit of the then Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Vuk Jeremić to Pakistan, on 13 December 2011.
The President of the National Assembly, the lower house of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asad Kaiser led the Pakistani delegation at the 141st session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Belgrade, on 14-17 October 2019.
Economic relations
Bilateral economic cooperation between Serbia and Pakistan is currently conducted mostly through trade exchange, which amounted 28.83 million euros in 2022, with exports from Serbia being 1.1 million euros, and imports from Pakistan 24.73 million euros.
