Political relations
Political relations are traditionally close and friendly. The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) supported Zambia’s independence since the beginning of the nation’s struggle for liberation. The first Zambian jet pilots were trained in SFRY.
Economic relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, total trade in goods with the Republic of Zambia in 2025 amounted to EUR 185 thousand, of which exports from the Republic of Serbia accounted for EUR 34 thousand and imports for EUR 151 thousand.
