Markovic stated that as a result of the good relations between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vucic, relations between the two countries are at the best point in their history and that this mutual trust has easily allowed the implementation of the recognition of the vaccine certificates.
Explaining that Turkey and Serbia did their best for their citizens during the period when it was very difficult to reach the Covid-19 vaccine, Markovic said, "Vaccination in Serbia started with Sinopharm and in Turkey with Sinovac.
