Ankara: Ambassador Marković with representatives of the Economic Association
Based on the relationship established by the Presidents of Serbia and Türkiye, the delegation expressed the desire to establish cooperation with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and commercial entities from various fields in our country.
Ali Genç said that the Association gathered over 800 commercial entities across Türkiye and covered almost all areas of commercial activity.
Both parties expressed satisfaction with the achieved two-way trade between their respective countries and it was noted that there was a wide range of opportunities for further deepening and achieving a very ambitious goal ― trade in the amount of USD 5 billion, which had been communicated by the two countries’ Presidents at a recent meeting of the High Cooperation Council.
In order to operationalise further activities, it was agreed that this economic association would prepare a letter of intent with clearly defined fields of intended cooperation and form a delegation to visit the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and possibly the relevant ministries in order to discuss specific projects and possible aspects of cooperation at the level of commercial entities.
Ambassador Marković again made the Embassy's capacities available to prospective investors from Türkiye, to facilitate future contacts and to enable the implementation of projects in the most efficient way.
