Beijing: Ambassador Stefanović visited Sinofarm pharmaceutical company

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to China Maja Stefanović, together with Ambassador of the Republic of China to Serbia Chen Bo, visited the largest Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinofarm and met with president of the company Liu Jinzhen.

The interlocutors expressed mutual satisfaction regarding the extraordinary relations and cooperation between Serbia and China in all areas, and the exceptional cooperation in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, in which Sinofarm Company played a significant role, was highlighted in particular.

Reiterating her gratitude for the donations from the Government of the People's Republic of China and Chinese citizens to Serbia in medical equipment and materials, Ambassador Stefanović pointed out that Serbia especially appreciated the possibility of procuring vaccines from the globally renowned company Sinofarm at the moment when it needed them the most.

During the meeting, mutual satisfaction was expressed regarding the ongoing trilateral project (United Arab Emirates, China and Serbia) of building a factory for the production of vaccines in Serbia, and the possibilities of expanding cooperation and participation of Sinofarm company in new projects in Serbia were discussed.
