Brasília: Chargé d'affaires Blažević awarded the title of "Diplomat of the Year 2022"

The President of the Association Fabiana Ceyhan emphasised the importance of cooperation between state institutions and media representatives, especially highlighting the activities of Jelena Blažević during the past and this year in the field of public diplomacy, as well as the constant readiness and openness of the Serbian Embassy for this type of cooperation. Last year, this prestigious title was awarded to Ana Beatriz Martins, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Brazil.

In addition to media representatives, this event was attended by the representatives of the Federal Government of Brazil and the Government of the Federal District for Cooperation with the Media, to whom the Charge d'affaires presented the cultural and historical characteristics as well as the economic achievements of Serbia in the previous period.

Chargé d'affaires Blažević informed about the reliefs which the Government of Serbia introduced as an incentive for the foreign investments, emphasising the importance of current Free Trade Agreements that enable the placement of goods produced in Serbia on third markets of over 1.3 billion consumers.

On this occasion, the guests were able to enjoy the specialties of Serbian gastronomy made to the traditional recipes.
