24. Sep 2021.
Today in Bucharest, as part of the "Week of Scientific Francophonie", the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Romania, Stefan Tomašević, attended the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Francophone University Agency (AUF).

On that occasion, he presented the rector of AUF, Slim Khalbous, with commemorative postage stamps of the Republic of Serbia, issued by the Post of Serbia in honor of the International Organization of Francophonie.

The Ambassador expressed great satisfaction that he was attending the celebration of this important jubilee on behalf of the Republic of Serbia.

"The Republic of Serbia is deeply committed to cooperation within the Francophonie, led by the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selaković, who place this cooperation at the very top of their priorities", the ambassador emphasized in his speech.

Ambassador Tomašević pointed out that the printing of commemorative stamps in honor of Francophonie, although symbolic, is another gesture by which Serbia wants to demonstrate its commitment to the promotion of cultural, educational and political Francophonie and its values, as well as its determination to become a full member of the Organization in the coming period.
