Bucharest: Ambassador Tomašević with MEP Cristian Terheș

Terheș expressed his sincere congratulations for the successfully held elections in the Republic of Serbia, which he attended in the capacity of observer within the delegation of EU parliamentarians.

In a very cordial conversation, bilateral and multilateral projects were discussed, with a special focus on the potential for the development of cooperation pertaining to the Danube waterway.

Special focus was put on the significance of infrastructure projects which would enable better connection between the Republic of Serbia and Romania was emphasized.

It was jointly stated that strengthening economic ties, as well as deepening cooperation in all areas, are priorities for future work.
