Chisinau: Ambassador Tomašević met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Natalia Gavrilița

The interlocutors stated that there was a lot of room for improvement of bilateral cooperation, with special emphasis on economic cooperation, encouraging direct investments and increasing the volume of mutual trading. 

The sincere support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty that the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Moldova provide to each other, and which is based on the foundations of international law, has been marked as a pillar of relations between the two countries.

The readiness to provide assistance to Moldova was expressed with respect to sharing experiences from the process of Serbia's accession to the EU, as well as in other areas.

Also, the importance of cultural and educational cooperation was noted, as well as the wish to connect students, scientists and sports workers, in order to make the two countries and the two nations even closer.
