Djuric meets with Senior Director for Europe at the US National Security Council
On the occasion of the first hundred days of the administration of President Joseph Biden, Ambassador Djuric conveyed to Amanda Sloat congratulations from the top leadership of Serbia on the achieved successes in the field of economy and vaccination process, the Serbian Embassy in the United States informed last evening.
In that context, he emphasized Serbia's desire to use the positive economic momentum in the United States and join forces aiming to further strengthen the bilateral relations, based on the continuous increase of trade in goods and direct investments.
Djuric pointed out that Serbia highly valued the US support along its European integration path as well as that a strong impetus by the United States to that process was of great importance.
He added that impetus of the United States also needed to be given to the Pristina side when it comes to the implementation of the agreements reached in all formats, considering that Pristina all too often ignored the calls of international as well as US officials for a responsible approach and continued to act contrary to every agreement.
Djuric concluded that Serbia was encouraged by the commitment of the current administration to the agreements from Washington, as well as that it would continue to demonstrate that it is a serious and credible partner, both bilaterally and multilaterally.
