Kinshasa: Ambassador Jevtić attended the memorial service for the killed UN Mission peacekeepers

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Kinshasa, Miroljub Jevtić, paid the tribute to the fallen peacekeepers of the United Nations Stabilization Mission of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), among whom was the lieutenant colonel of the Serbian Army, Dejan Stanojević.
In his address, Ambassador Jevtić emphasised the courage and heroism of the Blue Helmets whose goal is to help the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in the fight against illegal armed groups in the east of the country.
The memorial service in Goma was attended by ministers in the DRC Government, the UN Deputy Secretary General, the head of MONUSCO, and the ambassadors of the countries accredited in Kinshasa.
