Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Kinshasa Miroljub Jevtić met with the President of the Senate of the DR Congo Modeste Bahati Lukwebo.
The need to strengthen bilateral cooperation was discussed at the meeting.

The interlocutors discussed the possibilities for forming a Friendship Group between Serbia and the DR Congo, as well as for mutual visits by the parliamentarians of the two countries.
They also discussed the possibility of mutual visits between the President of the National Assembly of Serbia and the President of the Senate of the DR Congo.
President of the Senate Modeste Bahati Lukwebo pointed out that parliamentary cooperation was an introduction to economic cooperation and proposed the improvement of cooperation between the Serbian and Congolese Institutes for maize and vegetables, as well as the exchange of experts in order to develop the production of maize and vegetables.
