Kuwait: Chargé d'Affaires Vidaković meets with the Secretary General of the Central Agency for Public Tenders of Kuwait

Within the purview of the Agency are, in addition to registration classification and qualification of Contractors, suppliers and service providers, also the activities of regulating procedures and controls of the public procurement procedure, implementing public tender rules and bidding and award procedures, as well as controlling and auditing of the extension and renewal of the existing agreements, settlements of appeals and undertaking appropriate actions through the CAPT Steering Board and Complaints Committee.

Transparency and equal opportunities for all participants of the tender are the main principles on which the Central Agency for Public Tenders bases its activity and services.

Chargé d'Affaires Vidaković highlighted the potential for strengthening bilateral political, economic and military cooperation.

She informed Secretary General Al-Duaij about numerous initiatives that the Embassy of Serbia in Kuwait undertook in the previous period, initiating important segments of economic cooperation with Kuwait.

Secretary General Al-Duaij offered his Agency’s assistance for the purpose of intensifying our communication with the economic structures in the country.
