Kuwait: Chargé d'Affaires Vidaković met with the Yemeni Ambassador to Kuwait

Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Kuwait, Sanja Vidaković, met with the Ambassador of Yemen, Ali Mansur bin Safah, with whom she discussed bilateral relations.

The interlocutors agreed that the commemoration of the 60^th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade, last October, was an exceptional opportunity for the dialogue of the highest officials on the sidelines of that meeting, evaluating them as bilaterally significant.

Chargé d'Affaires Vidaković reminded that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, in a meeting with the Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs on the sidelines of the aforementioned meeting, conveyed Serbia's readiness to improve political dialogue and economic cooperation with Yemen.

She pointed out that during the talks, the ministers stated that there were potentials for the development of bilateral relations, which were not utilised due to several factors, but that there was an evident mutual will and interest to work on it.

Ms Vidaković expressed her satisfaction with the awarding of scholarships to Yemeni students within the "World in Serbia" project, for which the Ambassador expressed his gratitude.
