Luanda: Ambassador Perišić at the opening of a new Nett Group factory

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Angola Miloš Perišić attended the formal opening ceremony of a new Nelt Group factory in Luanda.

A confectionery manufacture factory of the Nellt Group from Serbia was opened in the Special Economic Zone.

This is the first investment of the Republic of Serbia in the Sub-Saharan Africa region, in the amount of 15 million EUR. The new Nelt Group factory employs 90 workers and has the capacity of 6.700 tonnes of confectionery products per year.

The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Angola Victor Fernandes, as well as representatives of state institutions, private sector, diplomatic corps and Angolan media.

Minister Fernandes thanked the Nelt company on its confidence in the Angolan economy, and invited other Serbian companies to follow its example and come to conduct its business activities in Angola.
