Luanda: Ambassador Perišić with the Secretary of State of the Ministry of External Relations of Angola

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Luanda, Mr. Miloš Perišić, met with the Secretary of State of the Ministry of External Relations of Angola, Mr. Domingos Vieira Lopes.

Secretary of State Mr. Lopes, on behalf of the Minister of External Relations, Mr. Téte António, congratulated Minister Dačić on his inauguration, expressing his belief that the relations between Serbia and Angola would continue on an upward trajectory.

Ambassador Perišić handed over a congratulatory letter from the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Mr. Ivica Dačić, addressed to the Angolan head of diplomacy, Mr. Téte António, on the occasion of Angola's Independence Day.

The interlocutors concluded that the relations between the two countries were traditionally friendly, that in the previous period there had been a strengthening of the political dialogue, and that there was space for improving economic relations.
