Ambassador Vekić discussed future work on the rehabilitation of the memorial ossuary with Dejan Ranđelović, the custodian of the Memorial, and thanked him for his work and efforts on the preservation of the Serbian sacred site.
Ambassador Vekić said that future generations must never forget their ancestors who laid their lives for our better future.
Jindrihovice is a small town at the Czech-German border, where the largest concentration camp during World War I was located. Over 40,000 prisoners passed through the camp, and the memorial ossuary is the eternal resting place for 7,100 Serbs.
