Rabat: Ambassador Bauer opened the exhibition "The Ways of the Roman Emperors"
The exhibition is organized to mark the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Morocco, at the initiative of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of our two friendly countries.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by many journalists, members of the diplomatic corps and officials from Tangier and the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.
Ambassador Bauer and the president of the National Museum Foundation of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mehdi Qotbi, addressed the audience.
This exhibition is part of many other activities that will present Serbian culture and tradition to the Moroccan public as part of the “Serbia in Morocco Year”.
It is expected that the exhibition “Roads of the Roman Emperors”, which will be on display until March 2023, will be seen by a large number of Moroccans and tourists who visit this extremely attractive tourist destination. Visitors will have the opportunity to see busts of 18 Roman emperors born on Serbian soil, which represents the largest number of Roman emperors born outside Italy. The exhibition also includes a 3D reconstruction of the appearance of a Roman legionnaire born in North Africa, whose remains were found in Viminacium.
