Seoul: Ambassador Grbić with the vice president of the company Kyongshin Cable

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Seoul, Nemanja Grbić, visited the headquarters of the company Kyungshin Cable in Incheon, where he met with the company's vice president and chief executive officer Cho Man-heng and director of the Department of Electrical Distribution Systems Kwon Oh-yang.

Ambassador Grbić noted that he was very pleased for the opportunity to visit one of the first Korean companies that invested in Serbia on a larger scale and is one of the leaders in the production of electronic components for the automotive industry. He also thanked the company for choosing to invest in Serbia, despite the great challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic, adding that their investment had significantly contributed to the revitalization of Smederevska Palanka, as well as several other municipalities in the Danube Region.

Cho Man-heng thanked Ambassador Grbić for the visit and gave a brief presentation of the Kyongshin Cable company, and provided basic information about the opening of the factory in Serbia, indicating that they are very satisfied with the business conditions. He added that the factory produces components for electric batteries, which are used in the electric vehicle industry.

Ambassador Grbić pointed out that the main priority of the Republic of Serbia in cooperation with the Republic of Korea is to strengthen economic cooperation, to increase the total volume of trade exchange, as well as to continue to attract Korean investments.
