Vienna: Ambassador Rodić meets the Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Austria-Serbia Ms. Gudrun Kugler

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Vienna, Nebojsa Rodic, met with Gudrun Kugler, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Austria-Serbia in the Federal Parliament of the Republic of Austria and a member of the Austrian People's Party.

The topics and discussions at the meeting highlighted strengthening of parliamentary cooperation, planned joint activities to promote Serbia in Austria, as well as issues aimed at preserving the memories and commemorating the sufferings of Serbs in Austria and the sufferings of the German-speaking minority in the Republic of Serbia.

MP Kugler praised the Republic of Serbia when it comes to restitution issues, emphasizing that about 90% cases pertaining to the restitution of property of Austrian citizens have already been resolved.

On this occasion, a meeting between Ambassador Rodić and all members of the Austria-Serbia Friendship Group was agreed upon, where the topic will be the visit of the Friendship Group to the Republic of Serbia in the fall of 2022.
