Vienna: Ambassador Rodić met with a member of the parliamentary party the Greens
Current topics in the world and the region of the Western Balkans were discussed at the meeting.
Ambassador Rodić pointed out that the Republic of Serbia was a credible partner of the European Union, and that it was constantly developing and improving, regardless of the difficulties it was facing on its European path.
The Ambassador pointed out that citizens of the Republic of Serbia from abroad were returning to their homeland as a result of long-term reforms, and added that Serbia was improving the relations with its neighbours.
He informed the interlocutor about the Open Balkan initiative and the Summit held within its framework, chaired by President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, together with Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania Edi Rama and Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Dimitar Kovačevski.
Ambassador Rodić mentioned that Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazović, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu also attended the Summit.
The interlocutors concluded that there was room for improving cooperation with the Green party, as an additional form of improving comprehensive cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Austria.
