Washington: Ambassador Đurić met with Senator Tom Tillis

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the United States of America, Marko Đurić, met with Senator Tom Tillis, a member of the Military Committee in the US Senate.

The Ambassador Đurić introduced Senator Tillis to a whole series of topics of importance for bilateral relations. Speaking about the prospects and further strengthening of overall Serbian-American ties, Đurić emphasised that the increase of American investments and development projects was in the interest of the entire region, and that the Republic of Serbia, with its stable economic situation and responsible policy, had proven that it was ready to be a regional hub of cooperation.

He also conveyed a message to the senator that our country appreciated the US's support for our path to European integration and efforts to strengthen regional cooperation, as well as America's appreciation of Serbia, as a reliable partner, for its contribution to preserve peace and stability in the Balkans.
