Washington: Gala evening at the Serbian Cultural Centre in San Diego

Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Washington attended the first gala dinner organised by the Serbian Cultural Center in San Diego, which brought together over 100 of the most successful Serbs from Southern California.
The event was organised as a fundraiser to finance permanent premises of the Centre, Serbian library, and media centre, as well as to help in the work of the first free Nikola Tesla Science Club on the West coast.
On behalf of the Embassy, Radomir Ilić, the first adviser, addressed the audience and spoke about the possibilities of cooperation between the Embassy and the diaspora, the simplified procedure for obtaining Serbian citizenship, encouraging the return of emigrants to their homeland, and strengthening economic and cultural ties.
