Yerevan: Ambassador Panajotović Cvetković met with the President of the National Assembly of Armenia
Ambassador Panajotović Cvetković thanked for the warm reception and conveyed her expectation for the improvement of political dialogue between Serbia and Armenia, economic cooperation and cooperation in all other areas, with an emphasis on the development of parliamentary ties.
The host expressed his satisfaction for the new, as well as the previous meeting when Ambassador Panajotović Cvetković presented him with credentials while he was temporarily holding office of Acting President, and agreed that there was great potential for inter-parliamentary cooperation, especially in the context of exchange of visits, cooperation of parliamentary friendship groups and cooperation within multilateral platforms.
President of the National Assembly Simonyan positively assessed the appointment of the Resident Ambassador of Serbia, as well as the opening of the Embassy in Yerevan, considering these events as a strong incentive for the further development of bilateral relations.
The interlocutors dedicated special attention to the current circumstances and processes at the internal level, especially to preservation of peace and stability and the situation in the South Caucasus region and the Western Balkans in the current circumstances of global challenges.
