Book of Condolence after the announcement of death of Ambassador Oliver Antić opened

21. Feb 2022.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Nikola Selaković signed today in the Book of Condolence opened on the occasion of death of Ambassador of Serbia to Portugal, Oliver Antić.

Minister Selaković wrote that Ambassador Antić was a distinguished true patriot who loved and supported his country, without restraint and calculation, at any time and place ready to defend national and state interests.

According to Minister Selaković, Antić as the Professor of Civil Law was known for his pragmatic and rational nature with great sense of applicability; also, the things he was writing and talking and thinking  about were also extraordinary. “Oliver made a special contribution to the improvement of our relations with Portugal, while the friendships he made attracted public notice and enhanced reputation of our country,  removing stereotypes of premeditated and maliciously spread rumours during the challenging and difficult nineties of the last century“, stated Selaković.

The ones who admired and respected Ambassador Antić can sign in the Book of Condolence on Tuesday, 22 February, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (the main entrance at the corner with Nemanjina St.), while the online Book of Condolence will be opened at: protokol@mfa.rs.

Ambassador Oliver Antić will be buried in Lisbon on Friday, 25 February.
