Dacic confers with the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Angola

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a courtesy call from the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Angola, Emílio Miguel De Carvalho Sobrinho.

The Head of Serbian diplomacy extended a warm welcome to Ambassador Emílio Miguel De Carvalho Sobrinho and wished him success in the discharge of his responsible duties.

Minister Dacic recalled the long history of relations, traditional friendship and good cooperation between the two countries in numerous fields.

He emphasized that there was room for the strengthening of cooperation, especially in the economy.

The Minister thanked Angola for its principled support to the preservation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.

Minister Dacic expressed the hope that Angolan President João Lourenço would visit Serbia in the near future.

Ambassador De Carvalho Sobrinho expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasized his willingness to actively contribute to the enhancement of cooperation between the two countries.
