First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dačić meets with the Head of the Council of Europe Office

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić met today with Tobias Flessenkemper, \Head of the Council of Europe Office in Belgrade.

Mr. Flessenkemper congratulated Minister Dačić on his appointment as the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and conveyed the greetings of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Marija Pejčinović Burić.

In view of the fact that Serbia will be marking the 20th anniversary of its admission to the Council of Europe, Minister Dačić and Mr. Flessenkemper discussed activities which could be organised in Belgrade and Strasbourg on that occasion.

Minister Dačić reaffirmed Serbia’s view that the application for membership of the Council of Europe of the so-called Kosovo was unacceptable.

Mr. Flessenkemper and Minister Dačić both said they expected their successful cooperation to continue.
