Kozarev Confers with Representatives of the British Parliament, the Home Office and the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce in London

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dušan Kozarev, continuing his visit to London, met with Wendy Morton, Chair of the Serbia Friendship Group in the British Parliament, Kingsley Green, Director of the Organised Immigration Crime Taskforce at the UK Home Office, and Lord Ranger of Northwood, Chairman of the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
The discussions focused on ways to further enhance parliamentary ties, as well as cooperation in the fields of economy, investment, defence and security, with particular emphasis on migration management and the fight against organised transnational crime.
The interlocutors underscored the importance of continuing political dialogue on other issues of mutual interest, including regional stability, European integration, culture, education and science.
The close historical ties between the two nations and states were highlighted, while the dynamic growth in bilateral trade exchange and the intensification of mutual contacts were particularly commended.
