Kozarev Meets with Delegation of the European Law Students’ Association

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Dušan Kozarev, received today a delegation of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA), with whom he discussed Serbia’s foreign policy priorities, as well as a range of issues related to the current international situation.

Presenting Serbia’s key international activities, Kozarev emphasized that the European integration process remains one of the country’s strategic priorities and an important framework for the implementation of comprehensive reforms and the further modernization of society. He particularly highlighted Serbia’s constructive role in strengthening regional cooperation and mutual support on the path towards full EU membership. He also expressed pride in the independent and balanced foreign policy pursued by President Vučić and the Government of Serbia, as well as in the intensive day-to-day activities of the Ministry, led by Minister Đurić, aimed at strengthening Serbia’s position in the international arena.

Kozarev underscored that Serbia consistently advocates overcoming regional challenges through dialogue and the strengthening of mutual trust, with a particular emphasis on enhancing economic ties, while respect for constitutional frameworks, alongside the preservation of peace and stability, remains an absolute priority.

He pointed to the noteworthy results Serbia has achieved in the fields of economic and infrastructure development, noting that the Specialized Expo 2027 in Belgrade will represent an exceptional opportunity to present Serbia as a modern, innovative, and forward-looking country, open to cooperation and innovative ideas at the global level.

Speaking about the organizational structure and objectives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kozarev emphasized that Serbia is continuously expanding and strengthening its diplomatic network, with a view to further consolidating its global presence and advancing both bilateral and multilateral relations.
