Kozarev Meets with São Tomé and Príncipe’s Minister of Defence and Internal Affairs

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Dušan Kozarev met with Minister of Defence and Internal Affairs of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe Horácio de Sousa, who is visiting Belgrade to participate in the Commemorative Meeting marking the 65th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement.
During the meeting, the close bilateral relations between the two countries were reaffirmed.
Kozarev thanked São Tomé and Príncipe for withdrawing its previous decision to recognise the unilaterally declared independence of so-called “Kosovo”.
The interlocutors exchanged views on opportunities for further advancing bilateral relations, particularly highlighting the importance of developing economic ties, especially in the field of tourism, as well as cooperation in the areas of security and defence.
