Minister Dačić with the British Prime Minister's special envoy to the Western Balkans

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić spoke today with the special envoy of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Western Balkans Stuart Peach.

In a cordial conversation, opinions on bilateral relations, cooperation in the field of economy and energy, the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, war in Ukraine, as well as other current international issues were exchanged. 

Interest in improving the political dialogue at the high and top level in the coming period was expressed. The interlocutors welcomed continuation of the practice of holding consultations in the field of security policy and defence between representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence of the RS and their British counterparts, to be held in London on 23 January 2023.

The interlocutors also agreed there were additional opportunities for strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
