Minister Dacic meets with the Foreign Minister of Singapore on the margins of the 43rd ASEAN Summit

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore Vivian Balakrishnan, on the margins of the 43rd Summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Jakarta.

At the beginning of the conversation, Minister Dacic expressed his gratitude for the support that friendly Singapore provided to Serbia in the process of acceding to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia, which would further strengthen the relations between our two countries.

The interlocutors noted that the bilateral political relations between Serbia and Singapore were traditionally friendly and on an upward trajectory, expecting the political dialogue to further intensify in the period ahead. They also expressed a strong interest in the further comprehensive development of economic cooperation.

The ministers stated that they were pleased with the cooperation at the multilateral level and expressed their interest in continuing mutual support in international organizations.
