A round of political consultations held with the French Republic
The French delegation was led by Head of the Directorate for Continental Europe of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Brice Roquefeuil, while the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was headed by Acting Assistant Minister for Bilateral Cooperation Ambassador Tamara Rastovac Siamashvili.
The parties noted that the bilateral relations between the two countries were at an excellent level, with a developed dynamics of political dialogue. Mutual willingness was expressed towards further promoting the level of overall relations reached so far, through the intensification of top- and high-level visits.
The interlocutors emphasized that the cooperation in the fields of economy, defence, education and culture was highly developed. They discussed cooperation within international organizations, the situation in the region and current global topics.
The French side affirmed its support to the European integration of Serbia, as well as to the process of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
Тhe Serbian side expressed readiness to cooperate on upcoming events to be held in Belgrade and Paris, such as the Olympic Games, activities related to the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence and the Specialized Exhibition EXPO 2027.
It was agreed to hold political consultations between the two ministries regularly.
