Selaković and Krivokapić visited the Temple of Saint Sava

The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Zdravko Krivokapić, who is on an official visit to Serbia, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, visited the Temple of Saint Sava in Belgrade today.

Krivokapić and Selaković, accompanied by the head of the temple, Bishop Stefan Šarić, visited the largest Orthodox church in the Balkans.

The Bishop and Selaković explained to Prime Minister Krivokapić the history and details of the construction of the temple and introduced him to the course of works that were completed in October last year.

The Montenegrin Prime Minister did not hide his enthusiasm for the mosaic, a work by Russian artists, which covers an area of ​​15,000 square meters.

Krivokapić and Selaković climbed to the top of the temple, from where there is a magnificent view of Belgrade, and the Montenegrin Prime Minister was especially impressed by the 56-meter-high dome with a cross 12 meters high.

Krivokapić and Selaković ended their visit to the temple by visiting the crypt where Patriarch Irinej was buried.
