Selaković presented the conclusion of the National Security Council to the Ukrainian Ambassador

Minister Selaković presented the conclusion of the National Security Council to the Ukrainian Ambassador, on which the Government of the Republic of Serbia will soon provide its standpoint. 

Minister Selaković said that the Republic of Serbia provides full and principled support for respecting the principles of territorial integrity of Ukraine and underlined that the generally accepted principles of international law were the basis of the Republic of Serbia foreign policy.

According to him, Serbia considers the violation of territorial integrity of any country, including Ukraine, to be very wrong.

Minister Selaković emphasised Serbia`s commitment to dialogue and peaceful settlement of disputes, adding that the Serbian people consider Russians and Ukrainians as brotherly nations, and that Serbia perceives the loss of any person`s life in Ukraine as a tragedy.

The Minister stated that Serbia is prepared to receive the refugees from Ukraine and to send humanitarian and medical aid in accordance with its capabilities.
