Spouse of the President of Serbia Tamara Vucic meets with the Ambassador of Egypt

In the context of this year's marking of an important common anniversary – 115 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Arab Republic of Egypt, the spouse of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Tamara Vucic, met with Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Serbia Mr. Bassel Salah and his spouse Mrs. Maha Baraka.

In a cordial and meaningful conversation, the spouse of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Tamara Vucic, expressed her satisfaction with the traditionally friendly ties between the Serbian and Egyptian peoples, which were additionally strengthened by the historic visit of President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to the Republic of Serbia, realized in July 2022.

She noted that she remembered with particular joy the warm hospitality extended to her during her visit to Egypt last year, as well as the conversation with the spouse of the President, Mrs. Entissar el-Sisi, with whom she had the opportunity to tour the cultural landmarks of the New Administrative Capital of Egypt.

Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Serbia Bassel Salah said that he was pleased with the successful realization of various activities taking place this year in the spirit of celebration of the common diplomatic anniversary.

The interlocutors agreed that there were ample opportunities for further successful cooperation, especially in the fields of culture and education.
