Starović talked with the head of the EU Delegation to Serbia

The interlocutors discussed bilateral political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Foreign Policy Service, which will be held in Belgrade next week, and agreed that the common interest is an active exchange of opinions on all relevant topics in the field of foreign policy.

The state secretary pointed out that we pay great attention to regional stability and cooperation, emphasizing the importance of further economic and infrastructural connections in the region.

Starović spoke especially about the importance of the "Open Balkans" initiative, whose goal is to remove all trade and border barriers between Serbia, Northern Macedonia and Albania by the beginning of 2023, expressing confidence that other partners from the region will recognize its importance.

Also, the interlocutors discussed further dynamics of the European integration process, other regional issues and initiatives.
