In her address, Jovanović emphasized the importance of such gatherings, particularly in the context of complex geopolitical circumstances, and reaffirmed Serbia’s readiness to engage in open dialogue on issues of mutual interest. She highlighted the significance of regional cooperation and reiterated Serbia’s commitment to strengthening good-neighbourly relations and enhancing economic ties, which are key to jointly addressing regional and global challenges.
Speaking about European integration, she underlined that Serbia’s EU membership remains one of the country’s foremost foreign policy priorities and confirmed Serbia’s continued dedication to implementing the necessary reforms.
She also underscored the importance of cooperation with NATO within the Partnership for Peace framework and noted the role of KFOR in maintaining stability in Kosovo and Metohija.
With regard to the Belgrade–Pristina dialogue, Jovanović emphasized that the preservation of vital national interests, territorial integrity, and sovereignty remains a national priority, while affirming that Serbia remains a constructive and committed partner in the dialogue process.
During the forum, the State Secretary also attended the official gala dinner hosted by the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, and the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Grlić Radman.
