State Secretary Jovanović Meets with Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nevena Jovanović, met today with the Minister for Coordinating National Security and Minister for Home Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, K. Shanmugam.
During an open and constructive discussion, the officials recalled the longstanding tradition of friendly relations between the two countries, firmly rooted in the Non-Aligned Movement and the process of decolonization.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations and on opportunities for further enhancing cooperation between Serbia and Singapore in areas of mutual interest. They also agreed to maintain communication at the working level with a view to implementing joint projects.
The officials concurred that communication, cooperation, and mutual support among small and medium-sized states are particularly important in the current period marked by complex global challenges and crises.
