Stojanović confers with the Regional Director of the UN Development Coordination Office for Europe and Central Asia
During the meeting, Stojanović emphasized that the Republic of Serbia places significant importance on the preparation and adoption of the new Cooperation Framework with the United Nations for Sustainable Development for the period 2026–2030.
He highlighted that special attention has been given to the establishment of the Inter-Ministerial Working Group for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, as well as the intensive efforts towards the nationalization of indicators for monitoring progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Today's meeting reaffirmed the strong commitment to enhancing cooperation with the United Nations in the field of sustainable development and further strengthening the partnership in achieving global development objectives.
The meeting was also attended by Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Cooperation, Ambassador Katarina Lalić Smajević, and the UN Resident Coordinator in Serbia, Matilde Mort.
