Djuric: Endurance of Serbia-Egypt ties

In the spirit of the significant diplomatic relations anniversary marked last year, Minister Djuric expressed his satisfaction with the endurance of the ties between Serbia and Egypt, recalling the particularly close cooperation that our countries had maintained during the era of the Non-Aligned Movement.

According to the Minister, the special personal relationship between President Aleksandar Vucic and President el-Sisi, based on mutual trust and respect, made a significant contribution to bilateral relations.

Underlining that Egypt was one of Serbia's most important partners in its region, Minister Djuric affirmed the continuity of political dialogue at the high and top levels and pointed to the need for a comprehensive development of cooperation.

At the meeting, views were exchanged on the current geopolitical situation and regional issues, and Minister Djuric thanked the interlocutor for his personal contribution to the development of relations between the two countries.
