Minister Dacic confers with the Deputy MFA of the Republic of Honduras

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today the delegation of the Republic of Honduras, headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Gerardo Torres Zelaya.

In the talks, the two sides reasserted interest in improving political dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation with the aim of strengthening overall relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Honduras, especially bearing in mind that the two countries are celebrating an important jubilee in 2024 - 120 years of diplomatic relations.

On this occasion, Minister Dacic renewed the invitation for the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Honduras Eduardo Enrique Reina to the Republic of Serbia.

The Honduran side confirmed the interest in strengthening political dialogue and bilateral cooperation, primarily in the fields of agriculture, sports and education.

The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Honduras is visiting the Republic of Serbia on the occasion of the second meeting of the political consultation mechanism between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, at which our delegation was headed by State Secretary Ambassador Goran Aleksic.
